Eligible Charities and Producers of videos submitted in favor of Eligible Charities may be asked to execute releases before receiving an award. Awards to Eligible Charities will be paid by the First Niagara Foundation, and awards to Producers will be paid by First Niagara Bank. By applying for an award, each Eligible Charity and Producer irrevocably assigns all right, title and interest in the entry, including all copyright in such entry, to First Niagara. Each Eligible Charity and Producer also: (i) confirms that no third party (other than the Producer(s) identified in the entry) was involved in creation of the entry, and that the entrant has obtained any and all releases and permissions necessary for First Niagara’s use of the entry as contemplated by these rules (including from all individuals whose name or likeness is shown in the entry); and (ii) acknowledges that the entry (including the entrant’s name, image or likeness) may be used for promotion, trade, commercial, advertising or publicity purposes.
There will be (1) grand prize winner, (1) first runner up and (6) runner up awards. A $10,000 grant will be awarded to the Eligible Charity that was nominated as part of the video submission that receives the most votes.
